My name is Scout. I am a 1 year old male German Shepherd Blue Heeler mix. Everyone says I’m a handsome fella and pretty darn smart too. I like all people, cats and other dogs but it takes me a minute or two to warm up to other dogs, especially ones bigger than me. I weigh 57 lbs now and I think I’ll gain a few more but I should stay about this same size for all my life. I’m very athletic and agile. I love to play with my people. I know to crate when told and walk well on leash.
I’m not sure how I got myself in this situation but I’m kinda glad I did now that I’ve gotten use to it and foster mom keeps telling me things are only going to get better and that someday soon I’ll be going on a long trip from Alabama to New York and that once I get there my life will only get better and better. She says that I will get a wonderful forever family that will love and take great care of me forever. I’m so excited about this because even though the family that used to have me taught me to sit, paw, and high five, they didn’t give me heart worm preventative so one of those dang mosquitoes bit me and so I had a light case of heart worms. I got treated with some shots and even though I don’t feel really well right now, foster mom says I’ll be back to my old self in a few days.
Scout is neutered, microchipped & up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $375.
