Say hi to Eva! She was found as a stray, the word around the neighborhood is her owners packed up and left her behind. We can’t imagine why, she’s a super sweet dog who loves everyone!
Eva had a large tumor hanging from her belly when she came in. It was removed along with two mammary glands and a lymph node. The vet said that he got everything, but it did test as malignant. She tested positive for Lyme disease as well, but it’s so mild that it doesn’t require treatment. The vet thinks she’s 7 or 8 years old. She’s around 60 pounds but needs to put on around 5 more to get to a healthy weight.
Eva loves going for walks, hanging out on her bed, and napping outside in the yard. A fenced yard would be a big plus for her. She likes some chew toys but has no idea what balls are all about. She’s great in the car. She has good manners meeting new dogs and loves to meet people and kids out and about. When new people and dogs visit she’s a little shy but warms up to them. She can play rough with other dogs, but respects when they don’t want to play. She has no history with cats. She’s a quiet dog, never heard her bark, but she howls at sirens.
Eva is a people dog, she loves attention and will gives kisses. She’s always ready to go and always ready to nap, what more could you ask for!
Eva is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed, housebroken, crate trained, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. For more information, please contact Jeremiah at email@example.com
