"WE WANT YOU" to join the team! BrightStar actively seek volunteers willing help our cause. Of course our biggest demand is for folks who can provide responsible, safe, and loving foster homes for our dogs; but many of our volunteers contribute in other very important ways.
- Maybe you'd like to participate in training classes with one of our dogs?
- Are you computer literate? Would you like to help with layout and preparation of flyers, fundraising activities, etc. to get the word out?
- Can you transport a dog? Provide over night housing?
- Maybe you are an artist or good at making things that we can sell at a fundraiser event?
- Perhaps you own a business and can host an event with BrightStar being the benefactor?
- Perhaps you can march in a parade with a dog or help educate the public about the German Shepherd breed?
- Are you a trainer? A groomer? A behaviorist? We always need help in these areas.
- Can you bake doggie cookies or make other dog stuff?
- Can you participate in an event and help setup, educate the public, sell items, raffle tickets or sell other items that other volunteers donate?
- Donate time to make a few phone calls or answer emails?
- Have great journalist skills? -Help write letters to solicit support for the rescue.
